Wear It Blue 15 – 21 May 2023

Join The Finance Hub and The Property Hub in support of Mental Health this May 2023. We will be digging out our favourite ‘everything’ blue and taking on a variety of challenges in support of ‘Wear It Blue’.

It’s back! Wear It Blue for West Kent Mind from 15-21 May.

Last year you were incredible; schools, football teams, WIs, local councils, theatres, libraries, businesses large and small, individuals and families joined us in wearing it blue for better mental health, raising awareness and valuable funds to support our work in the community.

So this year it’s back, and during Mental Health Awareness Week we are asking you once again to dig out your favourite blue T shirt, pull on your blue jeans, slip on some natty blue socks and join us in wearing it blue!

One in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year. Mental Health Awareness Week is a chance for all of us to be more open about mental health, to talk, to listen, and to support each other.

We want everyone in our community in West Kent to feel comfortable talking about mental health whenever they like. Talking about mental health reduces stigma, helping to create supportive communities where we can all talk openly about mental health and feel empowered to seek help when we need it.

Help us to raise awareness and to raise vital funds to support local people to get well, stay well and thrive with better mental health.

What can you do?

• Pick a day 15-21 May and wear something blue!
• Donate to West Kent Mind to support our vital services.
• Start a conversation about mental health with your friends, family, colleagues and community.
• Share your pics with us! Tag us in your photos @westkentmind and use the hashtag #wearitblueforWKM
